Simran not in Jeethu’s next film

It was earlier reported that Mummy & Me director Jeethu Joseph is on the lookout for a heroine for his next film with Mohanlal. Touted to be a family story, he had a tough time finding a suitable actress to essay the role of a mother of two.
Now, the online media is abuzz with reports that Kollywood actress Simran will play the role of Mohanlal’s wife here. That will make it a comeback of sorts for Simran who sizzled the Mollywood screen with Indraprastham.However, the director tells us that the news is not true.
“I had met Simran and though she liked the script, she couldn’t give us feasible dates. She is currently busy with her television programme and couldn’t accommodate the dates we wanted,” says Jeethu.
The director, who is busy with the release of his Prithviraj starrer Memories, will soon start the shoot for his next project with Mohnalal.
